As we stated previously, hemp textiles have been around for a very long time with fabrics dating back thousands of years in China, nearly all the shipping industries since then have used hemp in sails, ropes, and storage bags, and more recently, hemp cloth has re-emerged as a sustainable alternative to cotton.
