Our Historical Connection

If we look at the history of cannabis from a birds eye view, the earliest known references are from China around 4000 BC, although there is a great deal of debate on other archeological evidence showing it’s medicinal and religious uses among Egyptian and earlier cultures.  Some archeological evidence indicates that Cannabis Sativa residue was found in artifacts from grave site pillages of the Hopewell mounds in Tennessee in 1885.  While this historical debate is fascinating, the reality is that the Cannabis species has been in use by humanity for much of recorded history, and likely long before.  Apart from this historical evidence, we have the Endocannabinoid system.
