Since we have already reviewed a number of plant/flower touching areas of the market, let’s take a look at some of the essential Ancillary services that serve cannabis companies.  The first is security.  Any dispensary operating in the state of Oregon must have:

1. Security plan
2. Safeguards against theft
3. Non-residential door locks
4. All Points of ingress and egress and securely locked
5. Marijuana products must be kept in a safe or vault
6. All other products must be kept in a locked and enclosed area and premises is behind a steel door
7. Electronic backup of electronic records
8. Video surveillance system with archived video, and defined resolution standards
9. Alarm system
10. Limited access to surveillance and video system

It is likely due to 280E that dispensaries and grow operations are so cheap with their money, only wanting the barest minimum of security for their operation, and she has hopes that descheduling or rescheduling to 3 will change and generate some business.
