Module 3 Strategic Analysis

Collin Gabriel October 24, 2024

Welcome to our final topic: Strategic Analysis.  Clarity and understanding are a key part of the Strategic Analysis.  We now understand the tremendous opportunity in the cannabis market, and some of the ways brands are creating interest and benefiting the community at the same time.  With all these groups and associations to look into, where do you begin?  How will you articulate your goods and services to your new market?  What kind of customers are you looking to attract, and why should they be attracted in the first place?  Getting started with the answers to all the questions you may have can be harder than it seems.  Let’s spends some time developing a strategy for:

  • Visioning what you want, and defining them as goals
  • Researching those goals and gaining insights
  • Define the important characteristics of your customers
  • Creating personas to help visualize these goals in action
  • Create scenarios that are likely to happen
  • Use these persona/scenario combinations to test and put this plan into action

Each of the following steps will be an activity that will build upon itself.  You are going to need a pen and paper, or a document to use to track your research.  Let’s get started.
