Introducing: Courtney Moran

“Hi, I’m Courtney Moran. I am the founding principle to Earth Law, LLC, which is a Portland based law firm that has a practice area specialized in hemp. And I also am the chief legislative strategist for Agricultural Hemp Solutions, which is a national lobbying firm. And we also focus on hemp legislation and policy.

I have been an advocate for cannabis legalization for a long time. When I was in law school, I actually interned for National NORML, the National organization for reform of Marijuana Laws. At that time, we started seeing medical marijuana legalization in different states, and we provided guidance and counsel to some of those states here in Oregon. I helped, work on a couple of the different measures providing support for the legalization measures.

So I’ve been ancillary involved, and a big supporter. But my focus has primarily been with hemp legalization, which we have accomplished.”
